So why would Google want to give you a car. Think about right now they know everything you do on your computers and phones. But what happens when you drive some here without reception. What happens when you don't take your phone. If they give you a car, then they have the information. I guarantee this will have/need an internet connection for updates and at that time they will download everything you did. What music you listened to, what calls you made, you you went to see. Who knows in the future there may be camera to watch you and see what you are looking at. This is a scary thought and people seems all too eager to give up freedoms.

As a Car fan this freaks me out. At first because the 1% will be buying the car, so insurance will be super high as will cost of entry. However I can see a time when if you choose to drive your own car you will be paying 50 times more than anyone else.  This is bad all around for people who like to drive. The only good point is that distracted drivers will no longer be solely in control of 2000 - 4000 lbs of death steel.

New Scam fraud - Call from "Microsoft" you have a virus and we need to remote control your PC.

In short you would receive a call from Microsoft stating you have an error or virus and they want to help you fix the issue. (DO NOT LET THEM CONTROL YOUR PC EVER).

I had this happen to me so beware. They called me multiple times and told me I had a virus. They wanted to help me remove the virus. They started by asking me to look at my Event viewer and tell them what errors I have. Let me tell you now. Every PC has errors and they are not always a problem. I asked the person on the other end of the phone what error are you looking for and they could not tell me.

At no point did they get to the IP information, but that is because I don't trust anyone that calls me claiming to be from Microsoft. When I called the number back it was Google Voice. Microsoft would not be calling from Google voice. Their calls even from India would come from a Microsoft IPX.

So please be very careful. People will pray on you to get your information.
